Meet Dr. Lisa Hanson
Dr. Lisa is originally from Valparaiso, Indiana. She received a B.S. degree from the University of Notre Dame and graduated Cum Laude in 1999. After her undergraduate studies, she pursued her dental degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2003. Upon graduation, Dr. Lisa spent one year in a general practice residency in Indianapolis, Indiana focusing on adults with special needs. She moved to Denver, Colorado where she practiced general dentistry for three years. Dr. Lisa then decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry and completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at the Indiana University School of Dentistry where she received her Master’s degree in Dental Science in 2009. Dr. Lisa worked in Forest Park, Illinois from July 2009 until starting at Dayspring Pediatric Dentistry in March of 2014.
Dr. Lisa is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lisa stays busy with her husband Mark and their three children, Ryan, William, and Elizabeth. She enjoys staying active, traveling, and all things food-related.
